Balder Brewing

When this project was pitched to us it made my imagination start running, the premature ideas for Balder Brewing grew as the project continued. I was given Norway as my country to create this restaurant for and instantly thought of the Pegan culture that originated there with the Vikings, this is where the name Balder came from Balder being one of the many gods at the time. Along with the religion I also took in many other considerations of these original peoples, one of those being the boats made to explore the rest of Europe this is where the logo was born. Outside of the logo we were also tasked with designing a menu, I chose to incorporate the oars from my logo to help hold up brand integrity throughout the project. I enjoyed this project and found the research to be as equally fascinating and educational.
